Bera a beautiful landscape with historical significance, also known as the land of Leopards filled with villages and surrounded by forest and the famous Jawai dam. Bera is a small town near Pali district, where villagers and Leopards live in harmony. River Jawai flows nearby and provides vital lifeline on which the Jawai Dam is built.

The resulting lake is flooded with biggest Crocodiles you will ever see. Fishing is one of the major attraction and activity conducted on this water body. Such beautiful natural habitat is not a part of any National park and very few people know about it. That gives an ample opportunity for wildlife photographers and wildlife enthusiasts to spend enough time with this mystical creature. If you ask a wildlife enthusiast, he will say that Leopards are one of the toughest creatures to spot in wilderness, as they are rightly named as Ghost of Jungle, but at Bera they show-up fearlessly on the top of the rocks in daylight.
This makes Bera a hot destination to spot this creature. Leopards are in good numbers in this hills, which makes easy sightings more over wonderful hospitality makes it a must visit place to have a perfect breakout of busy life. A visit to Jawai Dam is a must to be as a part of the outing which gives a chance to spot winter migratory wetland birds along with Flamingos, Pelicans, Crain, Ducks, Bar-headed Goose and many more, Crocodiles are also another attraction for Jawai Dam. Along with Leopards Bera also hold a good number of other mammals like Bear, Blue Bull, Antelopes, Wild Boar, Jackals, and Striped Hyenas.
